PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector by which impedance characteristic is stabilized.SOLUTION: This coaxial connector includes a conductive terminal, an insulating housing for holding the terminal, and an external conductor for covering the housing. The housing includes an upper surface part and a cylinder part extended toward the mating connector side from the upper surface part to get engaged with the mating connector, and has an engagement part for forming a hosing part in the inside thereof. The terminal has a contact part disposed in the housing part while including a back part having the back surface facing the external conductor and a contact piece extended toward the mating connector from the back part to make contact with the terminal of the mating connector, and a connection part extended toward the outside of the housing part from the contact part to be connected to another conductor. The external conductor has a lid part facing the upper surface part, the upper surface part has a through hole in communication with the housing part, and the upper surface part has a support part for supporting the back part between the back part and the lid part in the through hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
