发明名称 ASSEMBLAGE D'AU MOINS DEUX ELEMENTS PAR COLLAGE ET BROCHES
摘要
1515678 Adhesively secured joints M J A REHOUF 29 July 1975 [1 Aug 1974] 31778/75 Heading F2M A joint assembly, particularly for boat hulls constructed from reinforced plastics, comprises a first member, e.g. planking 2 of a boat, a second member, e.g. a rib 1, adhesively secured to the first member, pairs of aligned bores 6, 9 provided in the first and second members, and pins 10 received and adhesively secured in the pairs of aligned bores to further secure the first and second members together, wherein the second member consists of or includes an L- shaped part having a first limb 3 adhesively secured along a contact surface 3a to a surface 2a of the first member, and a second limb 4 extending perpendicular to the surface 2a, and each bore in the second member opens at or adjacent the junction between the second limb 4 and the contact surface 3a of the first limb 3, preferably, as shown, such that the aligned bores extend at approximately 45 degrees to the surface 2a. The bores 9 are preferably blind, as shown, while the bores 6 are through bores. The adhesive securing is, as shown by layers of adhesive 5, 11 but in the case of reinforced plastics members, the pins may be secured in the L-shaped part as a result of application of successive layers of resin-impregnated fabrics, or a welding technique may be used where, e.g. the pins are also of plastics material. Further reinforcement of the structure is provided by adhesively securing the arms 12, 13 of an additional L-shaped rib by adhesive layers 14, 15. In the modification of Fig. 3, the reinforcing ribs 16 are of top hat form instead of L-shape, the pins 10 being at a constant spacing p along the length of each rib.
