<p>The vehicle is driven by a pneumatic motor and a conventional drive shaft, running from a gear box attached to the motor. The motor derives its compressed air from a reservoir which is topped up from one or several pumps. Each suspension element is coupled to an alternator by means of a belt drive. Suspension movements, set up as the vehicle moves along, are translated into electric energy and stored in batteries spaced around the vehicle. The batteries drive the air pump. The system is pollution free and simple and economic to operate.</p> |
