<p>Tubular container for various objects, formed, for example by rolling a sheet of cardboard is closed at its end by folding inwards panels outlined on the tube end. A fold line (2) round the periphery of the tube marks the start of the end cover. Fold lines (5, 7, 8), both straight and curved, run from the line (2) to the tube end. The tube is closed by folding these panels inwards, using the elasticity of the material so that the lines (7) form a star shape. The end is held closed by pressure of the edges against each other. An alternative uses different panel shapes.</p> |
