发明名称 ULTRASONIC REMOTE CONTROL WITH DIGITAL I/CS
摘要 1425216 Remote control receivers TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Inc 25 April 1973 [3 May 1972] 19713/73 Heading G4H [Also in Division H3] An ultrasonic remote control receiver comprises means 2, producing pulses at a frequency directly related to the frequency of a received ultrasonic signal, and means 11 for counting the pulses received during a given time interval to provide a digital indication which causes a decoder 14 to generate one of a plurality of control signals D0, ..., D9. In Fig. 1, the pulses from a Schmitt trigger 2 are applied to a monostable 5 whose hold time exceeds the period of any of the possible control signals: it thus remains triggered and supplies a " 1 " signal to a control 17 as long as a control signal is being received. During this time, and in response to clock signals 19, control 17 produces pulses in sequence on outputs 21-23 which respectively activate a frequency divider 7, enter the counter output in a store 12 (the contents of which are continuously being decoded by 14) and reset the counter. The hold time of monostable 5 is less than any interference pulse period so that the monostable can reset and stop the receiver operating. In Fig. 3, pulses from 2 trigger a monostable 25 which cannot be retriggered while in its astable state. A " 1 " output at Q1 enables a gate 28 to allow the pulses to pass to counter 11; when Q1 reverts to 0, a monostable 29 is triggered to supply a signal to 25 to prevent it being triggered again before the counter output has been processed. Circuitry 35-39 produces a pulse 34 when Q1 reverts to 0 which enables a gate 33 if it coincides with a signal pulse from 2, as it will do if a control signal is being received (Fig. 5, not shown). The output from 33 enables gating 30 for the transfer of the counter reading, and causes circuitry 40-44 to produce a reset pulse 24. A bi- and/or monostable may be incorporated between 2 and 27 to suppress interference pulses and/or to ignore the effects of an amplitude break in the control signal, which results in the production of two pulses rather than one. The receiver can be used for controlling radio and TV sets, and for remote control of cranes on large building sites.
