The arrangement is intended for a hand-held tool head connected with a supply line such as is used in a dental practice. Pressure-sensitive elements are provided for controlling the supply line and a hand-operated flexible chamber on or in the handle. There is a first line connecting the chamber with the sensitive element, the arrangement being such that manipulation of the chamber controls the supply line. There may be a further flexible chamber capable of being foot-operated and connected, by a second line, to the pressure-sensitive element. The handle may contain a number of supply lines with the hand-operated chamber arranged above or around the supply lines whilst the element controls all supply lines.
