<p>The device is for supporting the linear inductors on a rail vehicle bogie. Traction or braking forces may be transmitted to the bogie frame, each inductor (6) being supported by a beam (7) which has a transverse reaction arm. Each transverse reaction arm presses on the opposite inductor via flexible blocks which allow some deflection of the inductor-beam assemblies. The inductors may be raised and lowered, by piston-cylinder assemblies (10), between operative and inoperative positions. The ends of the support beams (7) are tapered and received in brackets (8) which are mounted on the bogie axles to maintain the inductor positioning.</p> |
