Window without fixed frame in open structure - has rubber sealing ring expanded by actuating mechanism for sealing

The window or door without fixed frame is fitted into a concrete or steel structure which has a number of accurately constructed wall openings. The absence of fixed frames ensures spacious windows and the cost of providing fixed frames is saved in this design. A combined rotating and tilting window can be fitted into a wall opening by means of two bearing holes for accommodating the actuating system with a clearance. The window frame is surrounded by a rubber ring seal. The windows can be actuated by a rack and pinion mechanism which act on the rubber rings for expanding it and sealing it into the window opening.
