Bag shaped sanitary tampon in an applicator - with inner and outer cup sections sealed together forming casing

The unpressed or softly compressed tampon has a permeable fleece bag filled with absorbent material (2), sealed on top and fitted with a loop (5), whereby the bag consists round or polygonal sections (6, 7) of different diameter and circumferentially bound. The larger section (7) forms the outer cup whilst the smaller one (6) forms the sealing section (6'). Pref. the connecting zone (8) lies inside the cup. The outer cup is hydrophobic whilst the inner section is hydrophilic. Shaping, filling with absorbent material and sealing with the inner section can all be done by vacuum process. The tampon can be rapidly mass produced with reduced problems involving filling the casing. Two different types of material can be used for the casing.
