<p>The shoe or sandal sole comprises two interconnected layers where the thicker lower layer on the side of the ground consists of a pliable resilient material covered by the upper similarly pliable layer which is made of a moisture-permeable material, such as a regenerated leather fibre material bound with latex with the addition of nitrolac emulsified in water. Orthopaedically correct protrusion ions or depressions are moulded into the foot-side of the unit formed by the two joined layers to increase the support face for the foot. The pliable resilient design of the lower sole layer allows the sole to adapt to even those feet which are deformed and differ from the normal foot design.</p> |
