Tunable UHF oscillator with a variable capacity diode and a capacitor connected in the current circuit. The capacitor (29) has a capacity which is several times smaller than the maximum capacity of the variable capacity diode (28). A resistance (32) is connected to the junction point between the variable capacity diode and the capacitor. This is used to feed the variable tuning voltage to the variable capacitor diode. The time constant which is formed by the resistance and the capacitor is smaller than 10 times the period of the lowest oscillator frequency. It is in the region of three time the length of the period of the lowest oscillator frequency.
