摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a failure of a fail-safe valve during traveling while preventing the occurrence of the tie-up pf a power transmission device.SOLUTION: It can be determined whether or not a C1-pressure control valve 86 is failed, or normally operated during CVT traveling using a second power transmission route PT2 at a side at which a gearing-type clutch D1 is not interposed by determining the presence or absence of the engagement of a first clutch C1 by outputting a hydraulic command for making the first clutch C1 engaged in a state that the gearing-type clutch D1 is released. At this time, since the gearing-type clutch D1 is released, the tie-up of a power transmission device 16 does not occur even if the first clutch C1 is engaged. Furthermore, when the C1-pressure control valve 86 is determined to be failed, gear traveling using a first power transmission route PT1 which is tied up when a failure of the engagement of a second clutch C2 occurs is prohibited. Therefore, a failure of the C1-pressure control valve 86 can be detected during traveling while preventing the occurrence of the tie-up of the power transmission device 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
