IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO MECHANICAL RESONATOR FREQUENCY MEASURING APPARATUS

The automatic frequency adjustment system, for mechanical resonators, has the resonators carried by a rail (5) to a step-wise rotating table (2) that carries them together with their holders round to the magnetising station (10) where they are magnetised before passing on to the sandblasting station (11). After sandblasting a resonator, its resonant frequency is compared with the required value. If this frequency lies outside the given limits the resonator is ejected (12) as a reject. If it lies within the limits it misses out the reject ejector and passes to the accept ejector (15).
