PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle with chances of diagnosing a valve permanent-open failure of a thermostat valve sufficiently secured.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes: a radiator circulation passage 150; a bypass passage 160; a pump 130 for circulating a coolant; a thermostat valve 170 connected to the radiator circulation passage 150 and bypass passage 160; and a control apparatus 80 for controlling an engine 10 and a motor. The control apparatus 80 performs: causing the engine 10 to shift from a stop state to an operation state in a case where a temperature of the coolant in a coolant channel 125 becomes lower than a threshold temperature during a motor travel with the engine 10 stopped; and executing diagnosis processing for diagnosing presence of a valve permanent-open failure of a thermostat valve 170 when the engine 10 shifts from the stop state to the operation state, and raising the threshold temperature in a case where a frequency of the diagnosis processing is lower than a given frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
