The invention relates to a placement plank for a road finisher, with at least one tamping edge inside a shaft which runs obliquely to the working direction of the placement plank and is open at the bottom, the tamping edge being connected to a drive and capable of substantially vertical movements under the action of the drive. To create a placement plank of this type which prevents jamming of the tamping edge without sacrifying simplicity in design, the invention provides for a flexible scraping seal (D) which can deform in a direction oblique to the direction of lift, the said seal being supported so as to be immobile in the direction of lift (z) and in permanent contact along the tamping edge (T) at least in the forward working direction. |
