The spit is for attaching meat, venison or poultry to a grill. The grill spit used for the attachment device may be inserted into two bearings located opposite to each other with a co-ordinated heat source operated by either gas, coal or electricity. A rotary grill cage (3) is positioned on the central grill spit, and the grill cage is length adjustable. The grill cage (3) consists of two spoked wheels (4), adjustable or fixable on the grill rod. The rims (8) of the wheels carry rods (13) extending parallel to the grill rod, and located at a pre-determined distance from each other. The rods have a rigid fitting in one rim, and a sliding bearing in the other.
