<p>The trailer for a motor vehicle has a coupling device which can be fixed to a hook on the vehicle. A mirror (5) is pointed at the coupling device (6). Through the field of sight of the mirror, both the coupling zone (2) of the coupling device as well as the rear view mirror and/or the driver's seat can be identified. The mirror is fixed by a linkage (4) to a coupling strut (1) which carries the coupling device. The plane of the mirror (5) includes an angle of approximately 70 deg. with the coupling strut. A bar (11) of the linkage (4) is releasably fixed to the coupling strut and has a connecting component (12) for a cross bar (18) which holds the mirror (5).</p> |
