AN APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR PULP PRODUCTION ARE PROVIDED WITH WHICH A PULP CAN BE PRODUCED IN AN ENVIRONMENT HAVING THE ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE AND HAVING A TEMPERATURE LOWER THAN IN THE KRAFT PROCESS AND THE SULFITE PROCESS. THE APPARATUS COMPRISES: A TANK MAIN BODY (10); A CHEMICAL FEEDER WHICH SUPPLIES A CHEMICAL THAT CONTAINS NITRIC ACID AND A CHEMICAL THAT CONTAINS CAUSTIC SODA TO THE TANK MAIN BODY (10) IN THIS ORDER; A LIQUID TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER (30) WHICH REGULATES, IN A PLURALITY OF STAGES, THE TEMPERATURE OF THE NITRIC-ACID-CONTAINING CHEMICAL AND CAUSTIC-SODA-CONTAINING CHEMICAL WITH WHICH THE TANK MAIN BODY (10) HAS BEEN FILLED; AN EDDY CURRENT GENERATOR WHICH HAS BEEN DISPOSED IN THE TANK MAIN BODY (10) AND FORMS AN EDDY CURRENT IN A RAW MATERIAL AND THE CAUSTIC-SODA-CONTAINING CHEMICAL WHICH HAVE BEEN SUPPLIED TO THE TANK MAIN BODY (10); AND A CHEMICAL DISCHARGE DEVICE WHICH HAS BEEN DISPOSED ON THE TANK MAIN BODY (10) AND THROUGH WHICH THE CHEMICALS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN SUPPLIED TO THE TANK MAIN BOY AND USED IN THE PRECEDING STEP ARE DISCHARGED, BEFORE THE CHEMICAL FEEDER SUPPLIES THE CHEMICALS TO BE USED IN THE SUBSEQUENT STEP TO THE TANK MAIN BODY (10). EACH STEP FOR PRODUCTION IS CONDUCTED IN THE TANK MAIN BODY (10) BY BATCH PROCESSING TO CONVERT THE RAW MATERIAL INTO A PULP IN THE TANK MAIN BODY (10). |
