PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule with an optical fiber preventing optical loss, without providing the ferrule with a lens.SOLUTION: A ferrule with an optical fiber includes: a ferrule 10 having a plurality of fiber holes 15 and a first end surface 11A inclined with respect to a surface vertical to an axis direction of the fiber holes 15; a lensed fiber in which a tip of an optical fiber is fusion-spliced to a GRIN lens; and a flat plate 30 that can transmit light propagating in the optical fiber, that is mounted on a first end surface 11A of the ferrule 10, and against which an end surface of the lensed fiber inserted into the fiber hole 15 is butted. The ferrule 10 has a second end surface 11B that is in contact with a ferrule of the other side and protrudes more to a side of the ferrule of the other side than the first end surface 11A and the flat plate 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
