The saw blade (1) has teeth (C1-C6, 10) attached to a base body (2) and including a cutting portion (6), where the each tooth is formed by a protrusion (3) of the base body. An insert (4) is attached at the protrusion and made of a material harder than a material of the protrusion and base body. One of the teeth is held in two chamfers that run asymmetric to a longitudinal center plane of the blade. The chamfers extend in two directions from the longitudinal center plane, respectively, where an angle of one of the chamfers is smaller than an angle of the other chamfer.
