The feeding aid for animals, partic. calves, etc., comprises a hose (1) of which one end is submersible in a container (20) whilst the other end carries a teat (11) with orifice (12), connected to that end by a connector containing a hollow member (9) with flange (14) and collar nut (13), a non-return valve being arranged between the teat and the other hose end. The hose extends through the member (9) and is secured thereto by an internal clamping bush (10). Between the member and the nut there is a fixing plate (16) which permits the teat to be releasably secured. The valve is arranged at the immersible hose end.
