PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable feeder control method capable of performing control that allows for reliable engagement of a drive sprocket for moving an electronic component to an outlet with sprocket holes of a supply tape, even if there is a cumulative pitch error between the sprocket holes during loading operation for inserting the supply tape to a feeder newly, and to provide an electronic component loading device.SOLUTION: When abnormality of suction operation is detected and a second detection sensor detects an end part of a supply tape, forced feeding of the supply tape is instructed. A cassette control section performs the forced feeding of the feeder, and performs loading operation when a first detection sensor detects existence of the supply tape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
