Pilot support for hang glider - has U-shaped strut assembly straddling centre of thrust and in middle plane

the pilot of the hand glider is supported by suspension arrangement of three struts arranged in a Y. Two upper struts are angled to each other and secured on the glider stradding the centre of lift and in the middle plane of the glider. The third strut is suspended from the link point of the upper strut and support the seat bar of the glider. The pilot grips a steering bar (4) rigidly attached to the glider frame in front of the centre of lift. The support combines stability with ease of steering control. The hole weight of the pilot is hung from one point with the smaller steering forces easily exerted on the steering bar.
