The process produces a plant cultivation bed comprising a number of rectangular cultivation sections each for one plant, alongside each other in parallel rows. The sections are separated by partitions, but held together to form the complete bed, the partitions forming a grating with slots where they intersect, so that the total height of the two slots in each partition is equal to the total height of the grating. The cultivation base is of mineral wool (10), in which grooves (13, 14) are formed to accommodate the partitions, after which mineral wool is inserted between the latter. The grooves do not extend right through the mineral wool, but leave an upper layer joining the different sections (16) of mineral wool together. |
