PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail that may be fitted on and removed from an installation surface promptly and securely.SOLUTION: A handrail 1 includes a handrail body, and a plurality of cylindrical holding bodies 4. The handrail body includes a plurality of struts installed leaving a prescribed interval in between, and a connecting part connecting the plurality of struts. The plurality of holding bodies is fixed on an installation surface for fitting the plurality of struts on the installation surface, and is configured to hold the plurality of struts by respectively fitting an end part 11A of the strut in a longer-side direction. The holding body has an inner shape that differs from an outer shape of the end part of the strut in the longer-side direction, so as to form an approaching portion 31 and a separating portion 32 when the end part of the strut in the longer-side direction is fitted into the holding body, the approaching portion coming close so as to sandwich the end part of the strut in the longer-side direction, and the separating portion separating from the end part of the strut in the longer-side direction at an interval greater than the approaching portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
