Reflector with frequency selective ring of absorptive material for aperture control

An antenna is made operative for two frequency bands, DELTA FB and DELTA FH, the latter higher than the former, by means of a frequency selective absorber, covering, in its edge region, a reflector of the antenna in order to reduce the diameter of the reflecting surface of the reflector and therefore the gain of the antenna for frequency band DELTA FH.
