<p>This constructional toy consists of a number of plates (2) and strips (3) of metal in which are rows of holes (4) of equal size. These plates and strips can be fixed together using reusable rubber rivets (8) in any desired order. The rubber rivets (8) consists of a stretchable body 10) which is, in normal state, of greater diameter than the holes (4) in the plates or strips, and longer than the thickness of two plates, and carrying a flat head. The body of the rivet has a blind hole. The rivet can only be fitted in a hole by hand with great difficulty, however by inserting a wire into the blind hole, the body of the rivet is stretched until its diameter is less than that of the hole (4) thereby entering the hole easily.</p> |
