发明名称 Treatment liquid and recording method
摘要 There is provided a treatment liquid which is used in a recording method in which recording is performed using an ink for ink jet recording containing a coloring material on a non-absorbent recording medium, the treatment liquid contains water, a coagulant coagulating components of an ink, and two or more types of organic solvents, the organic compounds do not contain the coagulant, a surfactant, and a resin, when calculating the product of a log P value and the content (% by mass) included in the treatment liquid for each of the organic compounds, the summation is equal to or less than −10, and among the organic compounds, the content of a first organic compound of which the log P value is greater than 0 is 0.1% by mass to 10% by mass with respect to the total mass of the treatment liquid.

主权项 1. A treatment liquid which is used in a recording method in which recording is performed using an ink for ink jet recording containing a coloring material on a non-absorbent recording medium, the treatment liquid comprising: water; a coagulant coagulating components of an ink; and two or more types of organic compounds, wherein the organic compounds do not contain the coagulant, a surfactant, and a resin, wherein when calculating the product of a log P value and the content (% by mass) included in the treatment liquid for each of the organic compounds, the summation is equal to or less than −10, wherein among the organic compounds, the content of a first organic compound of which the log P value is greater than 0 is 0.1% by mass to 10% by mass with respect to the total mass of the treatment liquid, and wherein when one of the organic compounds is a liquid under the condition of 25° C. and has a standard boiling point of equal to or higher than 290° C., a content thereof in the treatment liquid is equal to or less than 2% by mass with respect to the total mass of the treatment liquid.
