Reflective road marking strip - has sections of given length cut, extruded and drawn from extruded transparent resin rod

The road marking strip incorporates reflective transparent elements which are obtained by cutting sections of given length from an extruded and drawn rod of transparent resin material. The rod is cut along a line perpendicular to its longitudinal axis pref. into sections having the same length as the width of the strip. The drawn rod may be forwarded through one or more baths for coating it with a layer of transparent leads with a higher refractive index than that of the rod, before cutting it into sections.
