The suspension forms a single element, made up of the wheel arm (1), torsion bar (6), and shock absorber (10). This can deform, without noticeable change of geometry, in a given direction. The assembly has a frame (8) with its upper part a horizontal U section, supporting the shock absorber. The lower part is closed by a ring joining the anchor point of the torsion bar and also used as a bearing for the wheel arm. The frame is joined to the vehicle body by an intermediate structure with elastomer blocks to absorb vibration.
