As shown the lamina is clamped between a cylinder 1 and a seating plate 8 of an air compressor, a gasket 6 having recesses (18), Fig. 2 (not shown) to receive the lamina in the region of the projections which, on compression of the gasket in assembly, resiliently yield between the cylinder and seating plate.</p> |
