The reel includes a certain number of sectors (1) each formed by a single piece of bent wire, the sectors being joined together by welding. Each sector includes two inner peripheral edge sections (6a) extending along a circumference and axially spaced apart, these interacting in order to form two hub rings (11a) intended to allow the reel to be mounted on a shaft.
