A mechanical mounting and spring loading system is for a limit position indication pointer an electrical measurement instrument movement. It uses a simple central spindle with a spiral spring. The design is simpler and more easily manufactured and manipulated than earlier types. A small bridge chassis unit (8) mounted above the instrument indicator chassis (1), and this carries a spindle (5) on which the limit indicator needle (2) is mounted. A spiral spring (3) and clamp (4) hold the needle in position with the correct spring loading.
