The combined clocks (1) use the same switch elements, current supply and time display. The radio-controlled clock is activated for a short time duration, upon given selected data being supplied by registers to the quartz clock, and is used to correct the time register controlling the display. The regulating voltage for synchronising the oscillator of the quartz clock supplied when the radio-controlled clock is activated, is converted into a digital value, which is subsequently stored and converted into an analogue value. The digital value may be modified in accordance with the time of year to compensate seasonal temp. variations.
