The drive is for the hose drum or for the cable drum on equipment for irrigating large surfaces. The hose drum or cable drum is set into rotation through a reciprocating piston of a working cylinder, on which pressurised water acts and which is controlled via a control mechanism with a spring mechanism. A stroke cylinder (11) including a choke (12) is connected in parallel with the working cylinder (8). This stroke cylinder determines the synchronous running of the working piston (15) in the cylinder, independently of the towing demand of the sprinkler (3), because of a constant stroke frequency. |
