The invention relates to a safety device for keeping locked a door fixed via lever 2 to a rotary hinge column 4, particularly an outer swing door of a vehicle, which door is locked by the lifting, and unlocked by the lowering of the rotary column which takes place as the column is rotated to close and open the door.
