PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid rising of a potting agent between a core tube and a hollow fiber membrane.SOLUTION: A hollow fiber membrane module 10 includes a core tube 70 and a hollow fiber membrane bundle 30 composed of an assembly of a plurality of hollow fiber membranes 20 arranged around the core tube 70. An end part of the hollow fiber membrane bundle 30 is fixed to an end part of a cylindrical case 4 by means of tube plates 50, 51 made of the potting agent. A separation member 71 for separating the core tube 70 from the hollow fiber membrane 20 opposite to the core tube 70 is arranged on a circumferential surface of the core pipe 70. It is preferable that the separation member 71 is arranged on a position nearer to the inner side in the longitudinal direction Y rather than a position on which the hollow fiber membrane bundle 30 is fixed by the tube plates 50, 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
