PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical stapling for compressing a bone or bone flap.SOLUTION: A surgical stapling 1 comprises: a first leg part 3 for fixing on a first bone or bone flap; a second leg part 4 for fixing on a second bone or bone flap; and a bridge 2 for connecting the first leg part 3 and second leg part 4. The bridge comprises first and second end sections 29, 29', the first leg part 3 is connected to the first end section 29 and the second leg part 4 is connected to the second end section 29'. The bridge comprises at least one engagement part 51, 52 which is an arc-shape on at least the part, and used for engagement by an external tool which is disposed to bend the bridge for shifting the surgical stapling from a relaxing state to an extended state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1a |
