<p>A collapsible frame structure for the body of a child"s push chair, has a pair of side frames - between which a collapsible X-frame (21) is pivotally connected. Each side frame comprises, when erected, a pair of upright members (10, 11) and diagonal members (12, 13) pivotally connected to the upright members (10, 11) adjacent their ends. The diagonal members (12, 13) have a pivotal interconnection (14), and are provided with hinges (19, 20) between the pivotal interconnection (14) and the respective pivotal connections (15, 17) between the diagonal members (12, 13) and the upright members (11, 10). Toggles (24, 37, 38, 41) are provided for maintaining the X-frame (21) extended. Extensions of the respective diagonals (12, 13) provide handles for the push chair and a support for the back of a fabric chair. </p> |
