Compounds of the formula <IMAGE> AND THE NON-TOXIC PHARMACOLOGICALLY ACCEPTABLE ACID ADDITION SALTS THEREOF; WHEREIN Ar, Ar' and Ar'' are each phenyl, halophenyl, or alkylphenyl wherein alkyl contains from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; Ar''' is phenyl, halophenyl, alkylphenyl wherein alkyl contains from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or pyridyl; R is hydrogen, alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or alkanoyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and R1 is hydrogen or alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms. These compounds are antidiarrheal agents characterized by very weak central nervous system activity. |
