A method for manufg. float glass by making a metal of fexed concn. dispersed by electrical transfer was described. An electrical current density was formed from the first molten metal to the glass which was electrically positive toward the glass. So as to supply(-) electriccurrent from the surface of the glass to the second molten metal after finishing the electrical transfer, the glass surface and reductive second molten metal were contacted to make alkali metal ion and placed on the surface of glass.
