The re-usable closing or stopper element is for hollow bodies e.g. caps, cans or bottles. It has a lid section which grips over the edge section of the hollow body. There is a handle (3) on a lid with a shaped lid lip (2) which can be connected with a shaped edge bead in the region of the hollow body opening. The handle (3) which projects beyond the lip, can be connected with a counter support. The lid is connected with a clamp plate which can be pushed on to the hollow body and clamped in position.
