<p>The cam switch mounted on a panel has spindle (32) through the middle carrying two camming discs (30) with projecting portions acting against spring loaded contacts. The spindle also carries a star wheel (34) acting against spring loaded plunger for locking it in its varius positions. The housing is split down a vertical centre line, forming two parts (14). For use of assembly, these parts are locked together by two tensioning rings (68, 70) which fit around the outside, at opposite ends. Each part has a grooved portion (72, 74) into which fits a tensioning ring, which may be of plastics material.</p> |
