PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solar cell element, having low resistivity, excellent ohmic contact between an electrode and a semiconductor substrate, and, furthermore, excellent adhesion force to the semiconductor substrate.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a solar cell element includes in the following order: an imparting step for imparting a composition for electrode formation containing metal particles including phosphorus-tin-nickel-containing copper alloy particles, solvent and resin on at least one surface of a semiconductor substrate to form a composition layer for electrode formation; a drying step for performing heat treatment for one second to fifteen minutes at a temperature of less than 300°C to evaporate the solvent; a dewaxing step for performing heat treatment for five seconds to two minutes at the temperature of 300°C or more and less than 600°C to thermally decompose the resin; and an electrode forming step for performing heat treatment for five seconds to one minute at the temperature of 600°C or more and 1000°C or less to form a copper-containing electrode which is a heat-treated product of the composition for electrode formation.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
