<p>Apparatus for viewing a multiplicity of images comprises first and second image generating means (11, 12), first and second means (14, 17) for receiving optical images, and beam splitting means (15) positioned in the optical paths of images generated by the first and second image generators (11, 12) for directing the images to the first and second optical image receiving means (14, 17), the beam splitting means (15) being operable controllably to reflect and transmit portions of a light beam incident thereon so as to vary the percentages of the incident light beam reflected and transmitted, the range of variation including substantially 0% reflection and substantially 100% transmission. </p> |
