Compounds having the formula and acid-addition salts thereof, wherein R is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms and n is 0,1,2,3 or 4 are useful reagents for derivatizing organic compounds to permit the radioiodination of those compounds and their use as tracers in radioimmunoassays, or to permit their use as haptens.
