<p>A melamine-formaldehyde saturated kraft paper sheet is coated with a thickened and pigmented melamine-formaldehyde resin. The coated kraft sheet is placed over an assembly of kraft sheets impregnated with a laminating resin, replacing the conventionally used decor and overlay sheets. The entire assembly is pressed under heat and pressure against a textured press plate to obtain the resulting decorative laminate exhibiting a registered embossed appearance. </p> |
