The energised waveguide switches operate in a selected position, and the circuit utilises as few components as possible, even it is extended for several waveguide switches. The switching function takes place when a pulse is supplied to a coil for the selected switch position. Each coil (1, 2) is incorporated in the anode-cathode circuit of a thyristor (3, 4). An ignition pulse is supplied to the gate of a thyristor, selected by a preselection switch (8), on actuation of a push-button (9). After the latter has been reset, a control pulse is applied to an electronic switch (12), interrupting the anode-cathode circuit of the thyristor and thus quenching the latter. Pref. the ignition pulse for the thyristor and the control pulse for the electronic switch are each generated by a differential component (10, 12).
