<p>The mechanism feeds sheets sequentially from a stack to a printing press, these being delivered in staggered formation over a table to front stops aligning them before delivery to the press. The sheets are monitored by sensors. If there is a feed fault the sheets are halted by locking the stops in place. A fault actuates a switch (S1), which both activates the stop locking mechanism (10) and stops that separating the individual sheets (2). At the same time a further cut-in switch (S2) is prepared, being closed by a contact (k1) when a specific operation is performed, so as to set the separating mechanism and stops into motion again.</p> |
