摘要 The present invention is characterized in that it has a practical and functional design, which provides the same with a peculiar and unique aspect. The invention refers to an aluminum system useful for performing a crosswise clamping of cellular or monolithic polycarbonate sheets in translucent covers, without perforating the plastic sheets. The present invention is characterized in that it comprises two aluminum plates. The pieces are assembled by sliding each plate in an opposite direction, since the teeth have a unique shape that prevents the same from moving in a vertical manner, so that these cannot be separated unless being horizontally slid. The teeth have a K, L, G or T shape design that prevents the plates from being vertically separated. The shape of the teeth is not restrictive for the application of the present invention concepts. The system is related to the construction field, specifically to translucent covering systems manufactured with cellular or monolithic polycarbo nate sheets, its use being extended to other fields or industries for applying the basic concepts of the present invention. The advantage of the invention with regard to the prior technique, plugging or screwing the polycarbonate plastic sheet to the structure, are the following: A quicker and cleaner installation, the polycarbonate may be expanded lengthwise the cover without being deformed or broken; there is no possibility of leakages, since the cover is not perforated, therefore the original translucent color is maintained as well as the other physical properties of the polycarbonate.
